In a podcast first, we interview someone I have never spoken with before! Heather Gilbert is an actor, singer, puppeteer and full-fledged nerd! Her film and TV credits include being in the SyFy original movie “Lave Placid vs. Anaconda” and HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” to name a few. She is also a regular at the HB Studio’s Playwrights Theatre, Galli Theatre and a professional puppeteer in the New York Musical Theatre Festival. She has graced hallowed venues such as the Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and Terminal 5 to name a few. She has also been written about by the Huffington Post, being described as "seraphic" and "a lovely harpist". Bec visited a psychic in 2007 in her home country of Australia and predicted she will be “treading the boards in New York City”. In 2009 she took an acting workshop in NYC and realized that was the city she wanted to live in and has been here since. She is a stage, TV and film actress, model, and makeup artist. Tawn Le left her corporate job at Amazon in New York City in the summer of 2018 to pursue an adult gap year to satiate her curiosities. During her gap year, she unknowingly spent time with her Father before he unexpectedly passed away in early 2019. Her experience during those last few months further solidified her intuition of leaning into her love of creativity and play. Tawn is currently using her year off to travel, learn, illustrate for her blog and comic strip, develop her Reiki practice, lean into her creativity, and build deeper connections with friends and family. We talk about her favorite images and my favorite image she created.
